Yes indeed Hallow Who ?
******** ******** Just 1/2 an hour ago,a loud knock knock at the door....6pm Monday 31st Oct.
I hopped up to answer the loud knock...
There stood 2- 8 yr olds and one 4- yr old and an older girl of about 13 to keep an eye on the young ones.......
All dressed up in satin silk beads and witches hats.
They told me a story of giving and in return I get nothing ,but...........If I gave them a sweet/lolly they would not frighten me in the night...
I didn't have any lollies so I gave them a packet of very nice biscuits/cookies.
Squeals of delight ,and off they skipped....So this is Halloween I said to myself......

Back in the days when we could still buy fireworks in Australia, we always celebrated Halloween with a bonfire and fireworks and marshmallows melted in hot chocolate. Our grown up kids still talk about those wonderful parties. Tonight we celebrated with chilli, tacos and lots of red candles. No fireworks, but we still love Halloween.

Great to hear these real Halloween happenings! They seemed to disappear for a long time.
